To get started, you'll need to have a new Kogan Mobile SIM card, either a valid credit card, debit card or a prepay plan voucher, and a network unlocked phone.
Please note: if you are under 18 years of age, you must have the consent of your parent or a legal guardian.
If you don’t currently have a network unlocked phone, you can purchase a new unlocked phone from Kogan.co.nz here, or can bring your own unlocked phone.
If you still need to purchase a SIM card, you can order one online with free shipping here. Select Prepay Plan vouchers also come with a free SIM card included.
If you already have a new Kogan Mobile SIM card, then you’re ready to get started.

Simply head to the Kogan Mobile activation site here and follow the simple step-by-step instructions to activate your service.
Voucher
First, purchase a Prepay Plan voucher from Kogan.co.nz here.
Your plan voucher will be emailed to you* and you can redeem this easily with the following steps:
- Heading to the Kogan Mobile activation site here
- When selecting a plan, choose "I have an email with a voucher code"
- Enter your unique voucher code in the field provided and continue to follow the step-by-step instructions
* Voucher codes are emailed after you purchase them. If you haven’t received your voucher code within 1 hour of purchase, check your spam folder first, then please contact the Kogan.co.nz Orders Team for further assistance.
