Can I activate my Kogan Mobile SIM while overseas?
No. Kogan Mobile SIM cards can only be activated while you are physically in New Zealand.
Why do I need to be in New Zealand to activate my SIM?
Kogan Mobile uses the One New Zealand mobile network. During activation, your SIM must connect to the New Zealand mobile network to complete the setup process and verify that the service is being activated in New Zealand.
What happens if I try to activate my SIM overseas?
The activation won't be able to complete, and your service won't become active until you're in New Zealand and able to connect to the local network.
Can I activate an eSIM outside New Zealand?
No. Just like a physical SIM card, a Kogan Mobile eSIM must be activated while you're in New Zealand and connected to the One New Zealand network.
