To begin using Kogan Mobile, you’ll need the following:
- A new Kogan Mobile SIM card
- A valid credit card, debit card, or Prepay Plan voucher
- A network-unlocked mobile phone
Note: If you’re under 18 years of age, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to activate a Kogan Mobile service.

Using a Credit or Debit Card
- Visit the Kogan Mobile activation site here
- Follow the step-by-step instructions to select your plan and activate your SIM
Using a Prepay Plan Voucher
- Purchase a voucher from Kogan.co.nz here.
- You’ll receive your voucher code via email shortly after purchase*
- Go to the Kogan Mobile activation site
- When prompted, select “I have an email with a voucher code”
- Enter your unique voucher code and follow the activation steps
*Voucher codes are emailed after purchase. If you haven’t received yours within 1 hour, please check your spam folder. If it’s still missing, contact the Kogan.co.nz Orders Team for assistance.
