Getting started with Kogan Mobile

To begin using Kogan Mobile, you’ll need the following:

  • A new Kogan Mobile SIM card
  • A valid credit card, debit card, or Prepay Plan voucher
  • A network-unlocked mobile phone

Note: If you’re under 18 years of age, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to activate a Kogan Mobile service.

No problem! You can:

  • Purchase a new unlocked phone from Kogan.co.nz here
  • Or bring your own unlocked device if it's compatible with our network

Need a SIM Card?

You can order a free Kogan Mobile SIM card online with complimentary shipping here.
Some Prepay Plan vouchers also include a free SIM card—check the offer details when purchasing.


Ready to Activate?

If you already have your SIM card, here’s how to activate your service:

Using a Credit or Debit Card

  1. Visit the Kogan Mobile activation site here
  2. Follow the step-by-step instructions to select your plan and activate your SIM

Using a Prepay Plan Voucher

  1. Purchase a voucher from Kogan.co.nz here.
  2. You’ll receive your voucher code via email shortly after purchase*
  3. Go to the Kogan Mobile activation site
  4. When prompted, select “I have an email with a voucher code”
  5. Enter your unique voucher code and follow the activation steps

*Voucher codes are emailed after purchase. If you haven’t received yours within 1 hour, please check your spam folder. If it’s still missing, contact the Kogan.co.nz Orders Team for assistance.
